January 17th, 2012. Graeme and I met our friend Anton near Charing Cross in the evening for drinks and dinner in Soho. I didn’t really know that part of town very well, but Anton (like a good Londoner) knew all the shortcuts and little alleys so I basically followed him as we wandered around looking for somewhere to stop and grab a drink on the way to Bodean’s. I captured this shot of the two of them walking ahead of me down a narrow alley. It was lit with a really surreal yellow light, giving it a sepia tone look naturally - I boosted that a little bit in post-processing, and I think the end result is rather atmospheric.
